Tetra AquaSafe removes the harmful compounds found in tap water, for the safe adding of the water into garden ponds. Tap water is full of chlorine and heavy metals which can be harmful to all fish species and wildlife, therefore Tetra Pond Aquasafe has been formulated to detoxify the chlorine and any metallic components that are present in tap water. Tetra Pond Aquasafe contains organic colloids which support a healthy mucus layer. The 500ml of Tetra AquaSafe will treat up to 10,000 litres of pond water.

Tetra AquaSafe 500ml removes chlorine, chrloramine and build-up of heavy metals which cause long term damage to fish and other pond inhabitants. The neutralizing of these harmful elements makes tap water safe for adding to ponds after maintenance or evaporation. Tetra AquaSafe also leaves no residue and fully breaks down into harmless substances. 

Treatment Instructions are as follows:

- Calculate the volume of the pond using the following, length x width x depth x 1000 gives you the volume in litres (measured in meter) for gallons x 4.45.

- Add 10ml for every 200 litres or 45 gallons in to a bucket of pond water and stir.

- Distribute the evenly around the surface of the pond

- 5ml for every 200 litres can be added on a regular bases to ensure your fish has a healthy mucus layer.
