Seachem Phosguard 250ml

Seachem Phosguard is suitable for freshwater and marine aquaria and works to rapidly remove phosphate and silicate from your water.

Seachem Phosguard ensures that no detectable soluble aluminum is released from alumina, with no harm done to aquatic inhabitants and coral reefs. Phosguard is highly porous to ensure that optimum water flow can pass through its high capacity and bead-shaped profile.

Seachem Phosguard is easy to use and should firstly be pre-wet by adding it to a double volume of freshwater, followed by a thorough rinse. It can also be used in a media chamber, box filter or canister filter.

Why It's Different?

PhosGuard is spherical. Its shape allows for maximum water flow through the media. Granular phosphate removers can become compacted, dramatically limiting their capacity to remove phosphate. If the media cannot come into contact with the water, it cannot remove phosphate. PhosGuard is the only spherical phosphate remover on the market.

For best results leave Seachem Phosguard in place for four days before testing phosphate and silicate levels. Lave in place until concentrations begin to rise once again. Use 250 mL (1 cup) for every 300 L
