Maxspect Nano-Tech Bio-Block 2 Pack
Maxspect’ s Nano-Tech Bio-Media uses technology more commonly used in microbial sewage treatment because of the ultra-high surface area perfect for culturing bacteria.
Made from ceramic the completely inert Bio-Block has a surface area of 1080 m² ideal for culturing multiple species of nitrifying bacteria.
When you compare the available surface area with standard live rock it only takes 1x Bio-Block to replace up to 10kg of live rock and 10x Maxspect Bio-Spheres.
For best results, the Maxspect Bio-Block should be cleaned or replace every 6 months, however NEVER clean or replace all the Spheres/Block at once.
