Aquaforest Probiotic Reef Salt is a synthetically developed salt for cultured corals. The formula which has been created by experts at Aquaforest’s design studios, contains micronutrients and macronutrients to fulfill every growth and pigmentation demand for your corals.

The 25kg Aquaforest Probiotic Reef Salt, as its name suggests, contains a probiotic bacteria which reduces nitrate content, as well as phosphate levels. Once the salt is absorbed, the marine water can be used straight away. For new marine environments, inhabitants should be added to the tank after 14 days. 

Aquaforest Probiotic Reef Salt also contains bromides found in natural marine water. The salts should be dissolved in de-mineralised water at a temperature of 24°C for the best results. Stir for around 15 minutes until the solution is clear. Add 3.75kg to 100 litres of water. 

Note: Aquaforest Probiotic Reef Salt is not recommended for use inside ozone supported filtration systems
