Reef Octopus VarioS pumps are the latest in variable flow pump technology using DC current, its high quality, energy efficiency and quiet operation makes this pump stand out from competitors.

The VarioS produces high flow rates whilst maintaining lower heat production with the inbuilt circulating cooling mechanism and high energy efficiency, the ceramic bearings reduce noise and wear and tear on the pump. On average this pump should last at least 10 years!!

The enhanced controller complete with the VarioS return pumps allows the user to select between 5 present speed settings with clear LED indicators. The feed mode can be switched between 15 and 60 minutes at the touch of a button depending on the user’s requirements.

As standard the Octo VarioS comes complete with a float switch which automatically triggers the pump to turn off when the water level in the sump is low, this prevents the pump running dry.

The Octo has an added benefit it been able to directly connect to Neptune System Apex aquarium controller via the 0-10v port on the VarioS controller.
