The BiOrbAIR is a complete automated system for creating the perfect tropical micro climate habitat for growing tropical plants and keeping small amphibians and some invertebrates such as dart and tree frosgs and even praying mantis shrimps.

Dimensions are 56cm tall and 50cm in diameter and the Biorb Air is made from strong acylic.
Mimics conditions normally found under a tropical forest canopy, enabling many species of plants such as orchids to thrive as nature intended.

The Biorb Air uses a treated sterilised coir compost as the growth media for cultivating plant roots. The Coir compost included in the kit is placed on top of the capilliary matt that draws water upto the compost from a small water reservoir in the base. This capillary type matt prevents the roots of the plants from soaking and rotting. Natural daylight is not needed for these Terrariums as the lighting is included with a six LED array at the top of the sphere which emits the perfect lkight output for encouraging natural growth and prevents bending towards a sinlge light source.

There is also a clever, constantly running silent fan which recycles the air through a carbon filter. This prevents stagnation and condensation within the BiorbAir.

The best feature of the BiorbAir is the ultrasonic mister mounted in the top water reservoir. The mister generates a swirling water vapour automatically if the humidity drops below 75 percent RH. This maintains the pefect humidity levels within the micro climate of the Biorb Air.
