Tetra Plant Initial Sticks are a high quality fertilising solution for your aquarium substrate. Initial sticks offer a long-term nutrient base for all aquarium plants. They can even transform gravel into a fertile substrate.

Completely natural and containing humus organic iron complexes as well as inorganic nutrients, Tetra Plant Initial Sticks are extremely easy to use and are mixed with the gravel when you set your aquarium up, immediately activating the substrate.

Aquatic plants usually take root fast, which can inhibit the growth of algae in the critical setting-up of a healthy aquarium. Using Tetra Plant Initial sticks will help promote growth of the all-important micro-organisms in the substrate.

Dose: Add at a rate of 1g per 1 litre of aquarium water then mix the appropriate amount of Tetra Initial Sticks with 2/3 Substrate and cover with remaining substrate afterwards. For subsequent dosage, a few sticks simply need to be pressed into the gravel.
