Measures the total dissolved solids (TDS) in a solution.

TDS is directly related to quality of water i.e. the lower the TDS figure, the more pure the water. When using RO water it is recommended to always test with a TDS meter to ensure the purity.
By monitoriing the RO - revers osmosis water, you can decide when the RO filters need changing.

Reverse osmosis purified water should have a TDS between 0 and 10, whereas tap water will vary between 20 and 300

Supplied pre calibrated and measures TDS from 0 - 9999 ppm (0-1000 in increments of 1 ppm)
