If its a more fresh convenient meaty food your after then Tetra also produce a range called Tetra Fresh Delica which are in a jelly. These are an excellent choice when live food is needed but much easier to use and come in Brine Shrimp, Daphnia and Bloodworm. It is a good idea to feed fancy goldfish bloodworm or daphnia twice a week to help prevent swimbladder problems.
Tetra Plecomin, Tetra Pleco Wafers, Hikari Algae Wafers, and Nutrafin Max Pleco Logs are all designed as an essential part of any plecostomus / pleco fish variety diet. Feed these every day to ensure your plec is getting enough algae in its diet – otherwise its very easy to under feed this fish type.
