Complete Aquatics – Delivery

 

Delivery :-

All delivery and dispatch times are subject to stock availability.

 

We aim to deliver all orders within 1 to 2 working days from the date of ordering.  For orders placed before 12.00 Noon GMT, we try to dispatch the same day.  For orders placed after this time, the following day will count as the order date.

 

There is no weekend dispatch so all orders placed on Friday after 12.00 Noon, will count as Monday being the order date.  These orders will therefore be dispatched Monday.

 

Typically, mainland UK deliveries take 1 – 2 days (Usually the day after depending upon when order was placed).  Highlands & Islands of Scotland, Northern Island, Channel Islands and Isle of Man may take one or two days longer and may incur additional charges. International order delivery times vary upon destination : typically : EU countries : 3-5 working days. Other destinations will take longer.

 

We do use a number of different delivery methods due to the different types of products we sell and therefore Complete Aquatics offer these delivery times as a guideline only.

 

Actual delivery times after dispatch will depend on carrier used, and delivery address.  The chosen delivery method is totally at our discretion, so if you would prefer a specific service to be used, you must notify us before placing your order with us.  For faster delivery services, additional costs are likely to be charged.

 

Our minimum postage is £4.99 and this will be increased depending upon the weight of the goods in your basket.

 

These are calculated and displayed during the ordering process. We reserve the right to alter these displayed charges after order completion in the event of an incorrect country or area selection.

 

Delivery of Aquariums, Stands and Cabinets and other large / fragile items

 

Due to the fragile nature of aquariums, you MUST check all deliveries for damages or breakage on delivery prior to signing and accepting delivery.  We cannot accept any responsibility for goods signed for ‘in good condition’ that are later reported damaged.

 

Please understand that carriers are not insured to carry an item into the premises so please be sure to have help available if required.  Carriers will also charge between £5 and £20 fo a second delivery so you must ensure you have a responsible person available to receive the delivery as arranged.
Saturdays deliveries carry a surcharge.

 

Such items are sent via a palletised next day delivery service.  Whilst we do our upmost to ensure that all goods are securely packaged and protected, there are occasions where fragile products may become damaged during transit.  You must carefully inspect the package for any signs of damage such as tears, rips etc, then carefully open the parcel adequately enough so as to provide room to correctly inspect for damage to the product inside.

 

In the unlikely event that parts of your delivery are damaged, you MUST make the delivery driver and also Complete Aquatics aware of the damage immediately, also you must make a note of the damage which has occurred on the delivery note.  Claims for damaged goods after signing for a parcel will be refused.
